Cowan Heating & Plumbing have vast experience in Commercial work. They have supplied and installed numerous commercial heating systems nationwide, and have been involved from the early tender stages right up to final completion.

Some recent commercial projects:

Crossreagh National School, Mullagh, Co. Cavan
This consisted of a complete removal of an older inefficient heating system and replacement with a newly upgraded energy efficient gas heating system. This was carried out throughout a four classroom school including all ancilliary rooms and hallways.

St. Patricks National School, Moyne, Co. Longford
This consisted of a complete removal of an older inefficient heating system and replacement with a newly upgraded energy efficient gas heating system. This was carried out throughout a five classroom school including a large general purpose room and hallways.

Tunnyduff National School, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan.
This consisted of a complete removal of an older inefficient heating system and replacement with a newly upgraded energy efficient gas heating system. This was carried out throughout a five classroom school and other additional support rooms, toilets and hallways.

National School, Johnstownbridge, Enfield, Co. Meath
This project consisted of the heating and plumbing of the new one-classroom extension including toilets, resource rooms and office.

National School,  Butlersbridge, Co. Cavan
This project consisted of the installation of the heating and plumbing system in two classrooms, offices, resource rooms, interlinking hallways and toilets.

St Josephs Nursing Home, Virginia, Co. Cavan
This project consisted of the installation of underfloor heating, a heatp pump for a new sitting room in the nursing home.

Winfield Nursing Home, Dunboyne, Co. Meath
This project consisted of the supply and installation of a heating and plumbing system for a twenty seven bedroom extension of this nursing home. It also included the refurbishment of the existing section of the nursing home which was of a similar size. The system included four heat pumps and eighteen solar panels. This transition from a gas to a renewable energy system enabled the nursing home to double its capacity, and in the process halve their energy bill.

Drung Church, Drung, Co. Cavan
This project consisted of the disconnection of an ineffective gas wall heating system, followed by the installation of a high efficiency gas condensing boiler with radiators and controls. This resolved a long standing issue of condensation which was negatively impacting the interior of the church.

Killeshandra Church, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan
This project consisted of the upgrading of an oil heating system, which included the installation of extra wall-hung vertical and horizontal radiators, and a new high efficiency oil boiler.
This resulted in the church  - which is 150 years old - being much warmer and more comfortable for its congregation.
